A posture evaluation provides a great baseline for your dog’s overall physical condition. Whether your goal is to support healthy aging or improve performance, posture and gait are the foundations..

If your dog competes in canine sports, they should train like an athlete. Canine fitness is more than just exercise – it is a structured approach to building strength, stability, balance and mobility.

Sculling or rowing, lessons are designed to improve stroke efficiency and boat run. Your personal goals will drive the balance of technique, cardiovascular training and race preparation.

I’m a lifelong athlete and coach who built my professional career leading the women’s rowing program at Ithaca College. After decades of guiding student-athletes to success on the water, I transitioned into my retirement hobby—dog training. Since 2012, I’ve immersed myself in the world of canine sports and education, driven by the same passion and dedication that fueled my coaching career.
My coaching philosophy centers on teamwork, empowerment, and personal growth. I bring an energetic, caring attitude to every training session. Whether it’s learning something new, refining advanced skills, or working on fitness and conditioning, my goal is to make training clear, positive, and engaging.

“I brought my Rat Terrier, Mac, to Becky hoping she could improve his speed and drive in agility, especially through the weave poles. Becky did a thorough evaluation and came up with an easy to follow plan for strengthening exercises. I started seeing improved performance in just a few weeks. Very happy for her advice!”

“Lessons with Becky are comprehensive, intuitive and filled with good humor. As an instructor, she is compassionate and connected with the student-noticing immediately if an instruction doesn’t click or if a different approach or focus is needed. As a new sculler, I have learned so much in my lessons with Becky. I am sure that even the most advanced sculler would learn from Becky given her wealth of experience and extensive knowledge of the sport. If you have a chance to take a lesson with Becky, you should jump at the chance!”

“Having a postural evaluation done on my dog was eye opening, I had no idea that he had asymmetries. I received a video and a postural write-up. It will be great to have this as a baseline as he ages or in case he ever has an injury!”
